Wasif Ali Wasif was a renowned Pakistani author, teacher, writer, and poet. He was born in 15 January 1929 and died in 18 January 1993. He is famous for his unique style of literary writings. He used to write short pieces of prose on different topics including love, life fear, fortune, hope, happiness, expectation, promise, prayer, sorrow and so on. In one of the theses he is also stated as Reformist of Pakistan.  As a reformist, his work in awakening the nation is considered in continuity with Iqbal.  He has also written columns for Daily Nawai waqt.
